Poll: 2019 Audi A1 is a styling winner
And: C-Class or A4 wagon, which would you have?
There’s not much doubt about this one. The leaner, meaner 2019 Audi A1 is already a winner, as far as styling is concerned.
A whopping 77 per cent of respondents to our latest poll favoured the new A1 over its predecessor, an almost identical split to that we saw with the new-generation Mercedes-Benz A-Class when it launched. Seems people like new, shiny designs.
The 2019 A1 is 56mm longer than the car it replaces, and has a 65L larger boot. Given the outgoing car’s age, it shouldn’t be a surprise to hear the new model will represent a significant leap forward in terms of technology, with the 10.25-in Virtual Cockpit standard across the range.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard, and a 10.1-in central touchscreen will be offered as an option, if you don’t already have enough information in front of you.
Standard lane-departure warning, autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise control operate between 0 and 200km/h in cars with the Audi S-Tronic transmission.
